Because every piece of jewelry begins with a design idea curated by Gerardo Molino, sociologist and designer in Milano, with particular attention to style, proportions, materials and quality. AURUX carefully selects 925 silver, natural stones and fine finishes, always stating the actual composition of each piece on the product page. The jewelry is made using artisanal processes and manual work by specialized craftspeople, so slight differences may occur, making each piece personal and recognizable. Natural stones may show veins, inclusions and color variations created by nature, characteristics that testify to their origin. Each item is also inspected before sale to verify workmanship, finishes and consistency with the declared materials. AURUX means Italian design, transparency, artisanal care and quality control.
A natural stone forms in nature over long geological processes and is then extracted, selected and worked. A laboratory-created stone, on the other hand, is produced through controlled technological processes that reproduce specific formation conditions. The main difference therefore concerns origin. Laboratory-created stones can have aesthetic and physical characteristics very similar to natural stones, but they are not of natural origin. At AURUX, we always clearly state on the product page whether a stone is natural, laboratory-created or another type of gemological material, so the customer knows exactly what they are purchasing.
Rhodium plating consists of applying a very thin layer of rhodium to the surface of the jewelry, a precious metal belonging to the platinum family. It is extremely rare, highly resistant to corrosion and especially valued for its brilliance and surface hardness. In AURUX jewelry, rhodium plating may be bright or black depending on the design. In addition to enhancing the appearance of the jewelry, it helps protect the silver from oxidation and gives a more uniform and refined finish. However, because it is a very thin surface layer, it may wear over time with use.

To keep the jewelry in good condition over time, we recommend avoiding prolonged contact with perfumes, cosmetics, harsh detergents, chlorine, thermal water and other chemicals. After use, gently clean it with a soft cloth and store it separately from other jewelry in a dry place. Before purchasing, we also recommend carefully reading the use and care instructions on the product page, as some jewelry may require specific precautions depending on the materials, stones and finishes used.
Yes. Colour, veining, inclusions, transparency and shades may naturally vary from one stone to another. These differences are characteristic of natural materials and can make each piece of jewellery slightly different. Stone colours may also vary slightly depending on monitor settings and resolution.
