AURUX — A story of light, matter and worlds

From Italian roots to an international vision

AURUX was born from a story that spans fashion, design, craftsmanship and different cultures.

Its roots lie in the experience of Creazioni Italiane Srl, active in Milano since 1993, and continued with Creazioni Italiane Srls Worldwide e.commerce based at Via San Gregorio 11 Milano, in the world of accessories and fashion. A path that began with silk, ties and other accessories, grew over time through the Mediterranean and progressively arrived at jewelry.

Positano and the light of the Mediterranean, Milano and design culture, the East and its ancient craft traditions: different worlds that have helped shape the identity of AURUX.

Not simply a jewelry collection, but a project built around a precise idea: seek beauty, material and craftsmanship where they possess an authentic history and transform them into contemporary jewelry through an Italian vision.

Gerardo Molino

Sociologist · Designer · Milano

At the heart of the AURUX project is Gerardo Molino, sociologist and designer.

His sociological training has profoundly influenced the way he observes design: before the object come people, their tastes, the symbols they choose, and the way different cultures interpret luxury, color, material and beauty.

Long experience in international relations has allowed him to become closely acquainted with European and East aesthetic sensibilities, craft traditions, materials and different ways of conceiving jewelry.

From this experience comes his work for AURUX.

Gerardo Molino studies new collections, researches forms and materials, identifies new ideas, selects jewelry and coordinates product development together with the AURUX staff and the workshops involved in the different processes.

Each collection must have its own identity.

It is not enough for a jewel to be beautiful.

It must have character, matter, proportion and a story to tell.

“A piece of jewelry tells the story of the person who wears it. My task is to recognize the right light and transform it into a form to carry with you.”

Italian design meets the world

The AURUX philosophy starts from a simple principle: every piece of jewelry should be made in the context best suited to its identity, materials and the craft tradition it represents.

For this reason, AURUX does not automatically equate Italian design with exclusively Italian production.

Concept, aesthetic research, selection and creative direction are guided by the vision of Gerardo Molino and AURUX in Milano; manufacturing may instead be entrusted to different specialized workshops selected according to the type of jewelry and workmanship required.

Some creations are deeply connected to Italian and Mediterranean culture, while others arise from encounters with distant traditions.

When a collection belongs to a specific craft tradition, AURUX seeks to preserve its identity.

This is the case with Anima del Tibet, where Tibetan jewelry maintains its relationship with the place and tradition from which it comes.

For us, authenticity also means this: not erasing the origin of craftsmanship, but enhancing it through selection and a contemporary vision.

The hand before the machine

In many AURUX collections, artisanal work is an essential part of the jewelry.

Natural stones, 925 silver, pearls, coral and other materials are selected for their characteristics and then worked, assembled, finished or set using different craft techniques.

Handwork gives the material a personality that fully standardized production cannot replicate.

A natural stone may have a different shade.

A worked surface may show small variations.

A shape may not be perfectly identical to the next.

For AURUX, these differences, when they belong to the nature of the material and handcrafted workmanship, contribute to the identity of each piece.

Jewelry should not look anonymous. It should have presence.

The AURUX collections

Each collection is born from an image, a place, a material or a culture.

VESUVIO · ORONERO

The black of volcanic matter meets the light of the Mediterranean.

925 Silver, black rhodium, gold-tone details and natural stones create a language of contrasts: shadow and light, lava and color, strength and preciousness.

VESUVIO is the most intense and contemporary part of the AURUX universe.

CAPRI PRESTIGE

The light of Capri becomes jewelry.

925 Silver and natural stones interpret a luminous, Mediterranean and sophisticated elegance, designed for those who love important jewelry without giving up the lightness of color.

CUORE DELLA TERRA

Here, matter comes before perfection.

Natural stones, even in their most vivid and irregular forms, meet silver and handcrafted workmanship.

Every stone retains something of the Earth it comes from and makes each creation slightly different from the next.

ECO DEL MARE

Coral, pearls, turquoise and natural stones tell the story of the Mediterranean through color, light and movement.

It is a collection born from the imagery of the sea: Positano, Capri, the southern coasts, the sun on the skin and the colors of Mediterranean summers.

ANIMA DEL TIBET

A collection looking to the East and Tibetan artisanal tradition.

Jewelry and amulets made in Tibet maintain their connection with the culture they come from, with natural stones, symbols and workmanship belonging to an ancient tradition.

The AURUX selection brings these objects into a contemporary narrative without erasing their original identity.

SETA D'AUTORE

It is the link with the roots of our history in fashion.

Ties and foulard in pure natural silk Made in Italy, handcrafted and hand-finished, represent the meeting point between Italian tradition, color and accessory culture.

Silk reminds us where we started.

The jewel tells where we have arrived.

We do not follow a single path

AURUX does not want to be a jewelry house built around a single style.

Our world crosses Milano, Positano, Capri, Vesuvio, the Mediterranean and the East.

The materials change.

The colors change.

Techniques change and, when necessary, the places of manufacture change as well.

What remains constant is the criterion by which every collection is conceived and selected: research, identity, material quality, workmanship and the ability to inspire emotion.

Because we believe that true luxury is not simply owning something expensive.

True luxury is choosing something with personality.
